My hearing aid is singing? Hearing a whistle?

It could be it's not snug in your ear or there is earwax blocking its path. Sometimes, a cold stiffens the eardrum too.

• Clean your hearing aid often. Brush away with that dandy cleaner in the black zip case or dry cloth.
• Check for damage to the receiver tube and ensure it is correctly connected to the hearing device.
• Turn down that volume, if the volume is set too high, it can cause whistling.
